Our Partners and Network

Public health is a collaborative endeavor. We partner with governments, NGOs, academic institutions, and funders to build resilient health systems across East Africa.

Why Partnerships Matter

No single organization can close the health gaps facing Burundi. Our partnerships are organized into three areas — government alignment, academic collaboration, and institutional funding. Each reinforces the others: programs grounded in evidence, backed by stable funding, and embedded in national health strategy.

Ministry Alignment

We work directly with the Burundi Ministry of Public Health (MSPLS) — not alongside it. Our CHWs train on national curricula; their data feeds into the national HMIS.

MOUs at Every Level

We hold memoranda of understanding at both national and provincial levels, making our mobile clinics and the Ubuntu Medical Center recognized referral points within the public health network.

Data Integration

Every program we run flows back into national surveillance systems. When we leave a district, the infrastructure stays behind.

Key principle:We do not build parallel health systems. We strengthen what already exists.

Become a Partner

We are looking for new collaborators — organizations running WASH programs, developing mHealth tools, or funding rural health infrastructure. The more capable partners we have, the more communities we reach.
